- Please provide a citation to your state statute’s or other government authority (e.g rule, regulation, etc.) related to copyright in state government documents (Example: Virginia Code 2.2-2822). If you do not know if such a policy exists, are you or someone you know be able to do this research?
- Do you know if any state agencies in your state that would be willing to either put their publications in the public domain or use a Creative Commons license? Would you be able to contact them and discuss this issue?
- Get the word out: host a meeting, have a webinar, with your state agencies or legislators!
