FSGI gives major KUDOS to the Maine State Library for using a Creative Commons License 0 – No Restrictions  AKA Public Domain!!! for their many state government publications in HathiTrust!

Is your state able to do the same? If so, please get in touch with the staff at  HathiTrust:

“If you are a state employee with the capacity to grant permission to HathiTrust to make some or all of your department’s documents available, you can identify the documents and give us permission with the HathiTrust permissions form (see http://www.hathitrust.org/permissions_agreement). If you are unsure whether you have the authority to make such a declaration, feel free to contact us (via the feedback link or at [email protected]) and we will help you through the process.”
